Ready to start beekeeping?
Our 10-frame “turnkey” beehive kits include a locally-bred, marked and mated Queen from our overwintered hives with her colony. The beehive includes one fully assembled and painted deep box with 10 frames, a screened bottom board, telescoping top and inner cover. We make sure there are full frames of brood, pollen and honey in the hive, to provide a good basis for colony growth and honey production. After you bring it home, you will soon need to add another deep box as the colony continues to grow.
The cost of a complete hive is $400.

After your order has been confirmed, we will contact you to schedule a pickup date with all relevant details. At pickup, we will provide a full explanation of how to set up the hive in your yard, as well as answering any questions before and after to help make your beekeeping experience as successful as possible. Our apiary is PA state licensed, and our hives are inspected and approved by the PA Dept of Agriculture.
Full payment must be transferred prior to or at the time of pickup - payable by Paypal, Venmo, cash or credit card. If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please let us know as early as possible so that we can make the hive available to another customer.
